its shared jargon. At least, let us hope that, within the Brussels edifice, it can
enjoy the atrium as if it were its own concourse.

     Building interpretation booths was a piece of work within the work itself
and one the most architecturally significant. Resorting to the sketch draft, i.e.
to lines in situ to scale recalls the part of joint mediations the surveyor and
craftsmen played, in the age of computer simulations. Lines drawn on the
ground for the walls erected inside the lantern’s ellipses was like a Caucasian
chalk circle drawn to lay the desired yet disputed signs of European
concord!
