The Scottish Office requested a high-tech long-lasting (120 years without maintenance) bridge using traditional materials. The short span and marvellous visual setting are ideally suited to the design of a pure compressive broken arch structure composed of large granite slabs. This design was carried out for Mouchel Engineering Ltd.
