acceptable.
Following on are the 16 towers of the second square
ring, of which 8 are hidden by those of the first ring
and eight at an axis-to-axis distance of √5 Lx or 322 m
(or 192.5 m). They embrace an angle of 7°33’, in other
words 30 minutes of shadow (or 13°06’ or 52.4 minutes
in tropical zones.)
One has to apply the L/H rule to the latter to avoid
putting the central tower too often in shadow.
In our latitudes (with L/H = 2), the height of these
towers will thus be limited to 144 × √5/2 or 160 m in
