This anthology of the most significant works of Philippe
Samyn is presented in the order of the numbering system
of his files. Some files have been grouped together when
the corresponding projects have been built or designed
in separate phases. In certain cases, this has meant that
projects are presented slightly out of chronological order.
The year in which a project was designed is indicated in
normal type, and the year of construction (if the project
was built) is indicated in bold. The asterisks in parentheses
refer to the list of associates, which is found at the end of
the volume. Additional information may be found on the
architect’s website, www.samynandpartners.be, and in the
bibliography at the back of the present work.
