PROJECT FOR
THE HEADQUARTERS OF
THE CENTRE D’INFORMATIQUE
GÉNÉRALE (CIG)
/ WOLUWÉ-SAINT-LAMBERT (BRUSSELS)
/ 1986
Located along the boulevard de la Woluwe in a zone of the
Brussels region that was poorly developed after the Second
World War, this lavish project shows Philippe Samyn’s
increasingly pronounced taste for architectural geometry,
whether in a row or crystal-shaped, as can be seen in
the architect’s preliminary drawings. A few Kahnian
and Wrightian references are still visible.
