On the north and south facades each horizontal louvre is bolted at each end to a rocker arm secured to one of the bead-blasted stain- less steel uprights (10 x 150 mm cross section) suspended from the roof consoles. Adjacent louvres are connected to one another in pairs. Adjacent pairs are connected together by two parallel rods, themselves connected by a vertical rod to an actuator operating
a maximum of 10 double pairs of louvres, i.e., a maximum of
40 louvres. There is one set of actuator controls for each facade, with the exception of the four upmost louvres on each oor which can be positioned individually to act as light shelves.
On the east and west facades, the rocker arms at the ends of the vertical louvres are xed to horizontal bead-blasted stainless steel pro les (200 x 40 mm cross section). These are in turn suspended from the roof consoles via similarly nished pro les (60 x 40 mm cross section) every 1.35 m.
Each of the four sets of vertical louvres is operated by 14 actuators, each controlling 20 louvres (i.e., ve 1.35 m modules).
